Biotin belongs to the B vitamin group and activates many enzymes in metabolism. A small amount is produced by bacteria in the intestinal tract, but we absorb most of it through food.
Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) is a building block of the vitamin folic acid. The beneficial microorganisms in the intestine can convert it into folic acid, which is absorbed by the body. For this reason, PABA is also called a provitamin of folic acid. Folic acid and PABA belong to the B vitamin group, along with pantothenic acid and biotin.
Contains 200 µg biotin combined with 250 mg PABA, para - amino - benzoic acid , a component of folic acid. Biotin, also known as vitamin H, performs a variety of functions in the body . According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), biotin makes a scientifically proven contribution to our health:
